 Renderoc CS — The Architect’s Eraser

Essence:
A refined, single-part cementitious compound designed not merely to fill, but to restore. It is the definitive cure for static fissures in plaster, stone, and concrete.

Mixing :

Fosroc Renderoc CS shall be mixed with water adopting w/p ratio0.36 by weight or a mix proportion of 1 part of water to 2.5 – 3.0 parts of Fosroc Renderoc CS, by volume. Thorough mixing shall be carried out till a smooth, homogenous paste is obtained.

Application

The mixed paste is filled into the groove by gloved hand and the surface finished using a putty blade. This is continued till the full length of crack is sealed.

Curing

Curing is necessary only when groove size exceeds 6mm width or in areas exposed to UV.

Cleaning

Tools may be cleaned with clean water as Renderoc CS is a cement based product.

Procedure:

1. Excavate: Breach the fissure. Sculpt a “V” channel to expose the substrate.

2. Sanitize: Eliminate all loose assets and debris. The sector must be sterile.

3. Prime: Dampen the target zone with H2O. Do not flood; merely quench.
   Status: Ready for mortar insertion.

• Preparation: Honor the substrate. Open the crack to a clean ‘V’ profile (6mm). Cleanse the debris. Dampen the stone to welcome the bond.

• Alchemy: Blend the powder with clean water (Ratio 1:3 by volume) until it achieves the consistency of smooth butter.

• Application: Fill the groove fully. With a blade or damp sponge, smooth the surface until the interruption in the wall is no longer visible.

  Description :

  Fosroc Renderoc CS is a crack sealing cementitious material in powder form. It is easy to apply and can be finished or smoothened off with a putty blade or a damp sponge. It sets quickly on application and can be over coated with common paints / coatings. 

  

A Note on Limits:
Respect the material. It is not designed for cracks that move, nor for gaps exceeding 30mm.

Safety & Care:
While benign, respect the chemistry. Wear gloves. Wash tools with water before the set. Store in the shade, and it will serve you for a year.
