Rockwool Blanket Insulation 50mm

Ceramic Fiber Insulation Blanket

High-Temperature Thermal & Fireproof Refractory Wool | Energy-Efficient Fireproof Solution

Description

Ceramic fiber insulation, also known as ceramic wool or refractory fiber blanket, is a highly efficient thermal insulation material designed to withstand extremely high temperatures while maintaining lightweight, flexible, and durable characteristics.

Manufactured from high-purity alumino-silicate materials through a controlled fiberization process, ceramic fiber insulation provides exceptional resistance to thermal shock, chemical corrosion, and mechanical stress. Widely used in industrial furnaces, kilns, boilers, and petrochemical plants, our ceramic fiber insulation ensures energy efficiency, worker safety, and reduced operational costs.

Key Features

  • High-Temperature Resistance: Withstands temperatures up to 1260°C (2300°F) and higher, depending on the grade.

  • Lightweight & Flexible: Easy to cut, shape, and install in various applications.

  • Low Thermal Conductivity: Ensures superior insulation and massive energy savings.

  • Excellent Thermal Shock Resistance: Remains highly stable under rapid heating and cooling cycles.

  • Chemical Stability: Resistant to most chemicals (except hydrofluoric acid, phosphoric acid, and strong alkalis).

  • Sound Absorption: Provides excellent noise reduction in loud industrial environments.

  • Eco-Friendly & Safe: Free from asbestos, non-toxic, and safe for handling.

Rockwool Blanket Insulation 50mm

Premium Thermal & Acoustic Insulation Solution

Product Description

Rockwool Blanket Insulation is a high-performance thermal and acoustic insulation material manufactured from natural volcanic rock (mainly basalt). Produced using advanced fiberizing technology by the ROCKWOOL this insulation offers outstanding fire resistance, sound absorption, and long-term durability.

Thanks to its dense, open-fiber structure, Rockwool Blanket effectively resists heat transfer, reduces noise, and maintains dimensional stability over time. It is non-combustible, water-repellent, eco-friendly, and suitable for both internal and external applications.

Lightweight and flexible, Rockwool Blanket is easy to cut, handle, and install, making it ideal for residential, commercial, and industrial projects, whether for new construction or renovation.

Key Features

High Thermal Resistance – Reduces heat loss/gain and improves energy efficiency
Superior Fire Safety – Non-combustible with melting point above 1000°C
Excellent Acoustic Performance – Absorbs sound and reduces noise transmission
Water-Repellent & Moisture Resistant – Hydrophobic treatment prevents mold and mildew
Durable & Dimensionally Stable – No sagging, shrinking, or performance loss
Eco-Friendly & Sustainable – Made from natural rock, recyclable, supports LEED & BREEAM
Easy Installation – Lightweight blanket form for fast on-site application

Applications

Rockwool Blanket Insulation is suitable for a wide range of uses:

  • Roof Insulation – Metal roofs, concrete roofs, lightweight roofing systems

Installation Guidelines

  • Surface Preparation: Ensure surface is clean, dry, and free from oil or dust

  • Cutting: Use a sharp insulation knife or saw

  • Fixing: Install without compression for maximum performance

  • Joint Sealing: Overlap joints tightly; seal with aluminum foil tape if required

  • Mechanical Support: Use wire mesh or fasteners for vertical/high-temperature areas

  • Protective Facing: Apply foil or glass cloth where vapor barrier or protection is needed

Advantages Over Other Insulation Materials

  • Vs Fiberglass: Higher density, better fire resistance, superior sound absorption

  • Vs Foam (PU/EPS/XPS): Does not burn, melt, or emit toxic smoke

  • Vs EPS/XPS Boards: Performs better at high temperatures and is more eco-friendly

Environmental Benefits

Rockwool Blanket Insulation is made from natural, abundant resources and is fully recyclable. It does not emit harmful gases and contributes to long-term energy savings, reduced carbon footprint, and green building certification compliance.
