Fischer FIS EM Plus 390 S Epoxy Mortar
High-Performance Injection Mortar for Heavy Load Anchoring in Cracked & Non-Cracked Concrete
Product Overview
The Fischer FIS EM Plus 390 S is a premium, two-component epoxy injection mortar engineered for secure anchoring in both cracked and non-cracked concrete. With ETA approvals and exceptional load-bearing capacity, it is ideal for structural reinforcements, rebar connections, seismic retrofits, heavy steel anchoring, and demanding construction environments.
Why Choose FIS EM Plus 390 S?
-
Optimized resin formulation for enhanced load values in both cracked and non-cracked concrete.
-
Approved for diamond-drilled and water-filled holes, ensuring versatility on-site.
-
Validated for seismic zones (performance categories C1 and C2) for dynamic load resilience.
-
Reliable performance at low temperatures (down to –5 °C), suitable for cold weather installations.
-
ETA-assessed service life of 100 years, extendable to 120 years via expert report.
-
Supports rebar diameters from 8 mm to 40 mm for a wide range of structural needs.
Applications
-
Post-installed rebar connections in existing concrete
-
Shear connectors and concrete layer jointers
-
Heavy steel structures, rail fixings, and tall shelving systems
-
Seismic reinforcement and retrofitting
-
Anchorings in water-filled or diamond-drilled holes
-
Temporary or removable fixings (with internal threaded anchors)
-
Wood-concrete or wood-steel connections (approved for glued laminated timber)
How It Works
FIS EM Plus 390 S is supplied as a dual-component cartridge (resin + hardener). Components remain separate until extrusion through the FIS MR Plus static mixer, ensuring perfect mixing at the point of use.
The mortar is injected bubble-free from the base of the drilled hole, fully bonding the anchor or rebar to the concrete wall and sealing the bore. In push-through installations, the annular gap between the anchor and fixture is filled with the epoxy mortar.
Compatible anchors include Fischer FIS A threaded rods or internal threaded anchor RG M I, allowing flexible embedment depth and load transfer.
