1. Product Description

Nitotile MPA (Grey/White) is a high-performance, polymer-modified adhesive. It is designed for fixing wall and floor tiles/stones in both interior and exterior environments. It is specifically formulated to withstand damp and tropical conditions.

• Bed Thickness: Suitable for up to 6mm thickness (can be extended up to 12mm in limited areas).

4. Technical Data & Estimating

5. Instructions for Use

A. Surface Preparation

• New Concrete: Ensure surfaces are pre-wetted; remove excess water before application.

• Existing Concrete/Screed: Remove loose or hollow portions. Repair with polymer-modified mortars from the Renderoc range.

• Tile Substrates (Tile on Tile): Ensure the existing finish is firmly adhering to the base. Remove loose tiles and re-profile with Renderoc mortars.

B. Mixing

1. Use a slow-speed drill fitted with a mixing paddle.

2. Add powder to clear potable water (see ratios above).

3. Mix until a uniform, lump-free consistency is achieved.

C. Application

1. Spread: Use a notched trowel to uniformly comb the adhesive to the required thickness. Do not spread more adhesive than can be tiled within the open time.

2. Fixing: Firmly fix tiles with a slight twisting action to ensure good contact and no voids.

3. Monitoring: Check adhesive ribs periodically. If a skin forms, remove the adhesive and apply a new layer.

4. Alignment: Use spacers and corner beads to maintain adequate joints.

D. Finishing & Cleaning

• Remove excess adhesive from tiles and joints with a damp sponge before it sets.

• Grouting: Wait at least one day before applying tile grouts (Recommended: Nitotile MPA cementitious/epoxy grouts).

• Cleaning Tools: Wash tools with clean water immediately after use. Cured material must be removed mechanically.

6. Storage & Safety

• Storage: Store in dry conditions in original, unopened bags. High temperature or humidity may reduce shelf life.

• Safety: Nitotile MPA is non-flammable.
