Product Description
MG (MGPT) Plaster is a dry mix of cement plaster and render designed for both internal and external use. It is specially formulated for lightweight blocks but is also suitable as a high-strength, free-flow cementitious micro-concrete for repairs.

Application: Can be applied via plastering machine or by hand.

Usage: Ideal for Fair Face concrete, block work, and brick walls.
Technical Data

Composition: Portland cement, hydrated lime, processed sand, chemical additives, and cellulose fibers.

Binder: Ordinary Portland Cement.

Pack Size: 25 kg paper bags.

Shelf Life: 12 months from the date of production (when stored under dry conditions).

Working Time: Approx. 20 minutes.

Curing: Minimum 52 hours with potable water.
Application Method
1. Surface Preparation:
Before applying the plaster, the substrate (fair-faced concrete or block work) must be prepared to ensure high-quality adhesion.

Clean: Remove all dust, loose particles, wood pieces, mold oil, grease, and curing compounds. Use a wire brush if necessary.

Neutralize (Suction Control): The foundation should be thoroughly neutralized by applying potable water.

Dampen: Hose the surface with clean water before application. Allow free water to disperse; the surface should be damp but not dripping.

Roughen: For brick walls, create a rough surface to enhance adhesion.
2. Mixing:

Mix the plaster according to instructions to create a premixed cement-based mortar.
3. Application:

MG (MGPT) Plaster can be applied in one coat to a thickness of 8–20 mm.

Finish the surface by felting or floating.

If using a spray machine, apply in a continuous operation and finish manually to the required thickness (meeting requirements of BSEN13914-1 & BSEN13914-2).
Storage

Store in a dry place, off the ground, and well-covered.

Any material that has become hard or lumpy must be rejected.
Health and Safety Precautions

Skin Contact: The powder contains cement which releases alkali when wet. This can be harmful to the skin. Wear suitable gloves and use barrier creams. Wash immediately with clean water if contact occurs.

Inhalation: Avoid inhaling dust. Wear dust masks during use.

Eye Contact: Wear eye protection. If contact occurs, rinse immediately with plenty of clean water and seek medical advice.

Ingestion: If swallowed, seek medical attention immediately. Do not induce vomiting.

Flammability: The product is non-flammable.
