Rockwool Blanket Insulation 50mm
Premium Thermal & Acoustic Insulation Solution
Product Description
Rockwool Blanket Insulation is a high-performance thermal and acoustic insulation material manufactured from natural volcanic rock (mainly basalt). Produced using advanced fiberizing technology by the ROCKWOOL this insulation offers outstanding fire resistance, sound absorption, and long-term durability.
Thanks to its dense, open-fiber structure, Rockwool Blanket effectively resists heat transfer, reduces noise, and maintains dimensional stability over time. It is non-combustible, water-repellent, eco-friendly, and suitable for both internal and external applications.
Lightweight and flexible, Rockwool Blanket is easy to cut, handle, and install, making it ideal for residential, commercial, and industrial projects, whether for new construction or renovation.

Installation Guidelines
-
Surface Preparation: Ensure surface is clean, dry, and free from oil or dust
-
Cutting: Use a sharp insulation knife or saw
-
Fixing: Install without compression for maximum performance
-
Joint Sealing: Overlap joints tightly; seal with aluminum foil tape if required
-
Mechanical Support: Use wire mesh or fasteners for vertical/high-temperature areas
-
Protective Facing: Apply foil or glass cloth where vapor barrier or protection is needed
Advantages Over Other Insulation Materials
-
Vs Fiberglass: Higher density, better fire resistance, superior sound absorption
-
Vs Foam (PU/EPS/XPS): Does not burn, melt, or emit toxic smoke
-
Vs EPS/XPS Boards: Performs better at high temperatures and is more eco-friendly
Environmental Benefits
Rockwool Blanket Insulation is made from natural, abundant resources and is fully recyclable. It does not emit harmful gases and contributes to long-term energy savings, reduced carbon footprint, and green building certification compliance.
