What Is Rockwool Pipe Insulation?

Rockwool Pipe Insulation is made from natural volcanic stone. Selected stones are melted at approximately 1450°C and fiberized using advanced spinning technology. These fibers are bonded with a thermosetting binder to form a dense, durable insulation mat, which is then shaped into pipe sections for easy handling and installation.

Secondary processes allow the production of specialized products such as pipe covers, wired blankets, and foil-faced insulation.
