2. Areas of Application

PC-Prime® 01 is suitable for use on vertical and horizontal surfaces in the following applications:

4. Application Instructions

Surface Preparation:
The surface must be clean, dry, and free from oil, grease, loose particles, and curing compounds. Fresh concrete should be cured for at least 14 days. Metal surfaces should be wire-brushed to remove rust.

Application:

1. Stir PC-Prime® 01 well before use.

2. Apply using a brush, roller, or airless spray.

3. Ensure a uniform coating; do not allow the primer to pool in depressions.

4. Allow the primer to dry completely (until all solvent has evaporated and the surface is tack-free) before applying the subsequent waterproofing layer.

Coverage Rate:
Approximately 4 to 6 m² per liter, depending on the porosity and texture of the substrate.

5. Packaging & Storage

• Packaging: Available in 20-liter pails and 200-liter drums.

• Storage: Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight and sources of ignition. Keep containers tightly closed when not in use.

• Shelf Life: 12 months in original unopened containers.

6. Health & Safety

• Flammability: PC-Prime® 01 contains volatile solvents and is flammable. Keep away from open flames, sparks, and heat sources. No smoking during application.

• Ventilation: Ensure adequate ventilation when using in enclosed spaces.

• PPE: Wear protective gloves, safety goggles, and suitable protective clothing.

• First Aid:

  • Skin: Wash thoroughly with soap and water (do not use solvent).

  • Eyes: Flush with water for 15 minutes and seek medical attention.

  • Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting; seek immediate medical attention.
